LESS ORGANIZING. MORE PLAYING.
The planned flow keeps the work where your community already is.
An admin adds the bot, picks a channel for game nights, and chooses which roles can host. Setup stays in Discord.
A host uses /host to choose a game, time, and number of seats. The bot posts the session where your members already hang out.
Members join from the session post. Want new faces? Choose to share a public session on LobbyTap, too.
MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR NEXT REGULAR
A public profile gives people a feel for your server before they join: the games you play, the people who host, and the next session they could be part of.
Take a look at CommunitiesFor the “one more game” crowd. A welcoming place to unwind, find a team, and make Friday a regular thing.
PUBLIC IS A CHOICE
Installing a bot shouldn’t put your whole server on display. The planned setup gives admins a separate choice at each step.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
No. The planned setup lives in the Discord bot. Your server name and icon can be filled in for you; an admin adds a short description, games, region, and invite link, then previews the profile before publishing.
No. Connecting a server and listing a community are separate choices. Your profile stays unpublished until an admin chooses to publish it. You also choose which sessions are public.
It gives potential members one place to learn about your server, see its public game nights, and follow your Discord invite. You can share that page even before the directory has many communities.
Browsing public community pages does not require an account. The current LobbyTap session experience requires sign-in to join. Joining through Discord and account linking will be part of the bot integration.
Not yet. The community pages are the first step; bot installation and server setup are coming next. The session post shown here is an illustration of the planned experience.
